British Discus Show 2008

Welcome to the web site of the British Discus Show!

The British and International Discus Keepers Association, or BIDKA, are delighted to announce that we will be holding our inaugural Discus Show during November 2008 in Bristol. Bristol is ideally situated in the UK to host the inaugural show and has good motorway and rail links throughout the rest of the UK. Bristol also has an international airport that services other cities in the UK and abroad.

When and Where The British Discus Show 2008 will take place over the weekend of 15th and 16th November 2008 with benching taking place during Friday 14th November in the afternoon. The show will be held at the Southmead Community Centre, 248 Greystoke Avenue, Southmead, Bristol, BS10 6BQ. For a map and directions on how to get there click on the Show Location link.

All the important information regarding this years show can be found on this site, from details about the venue to how to prepare your fish for showing and what to expect at the show. Including booking forms and hotel accommodation in the area.

As speakers, judges, displays and events at the show get confirmed the details will appear here!
